That's pretty intense, Sculpey. Scared straight?
I went to a friend's party last night in the field near his house.
There was beer and pot, of course.
But everyone that got wasted spent the night, thank God, because they couldn't have driven home.

I lost 3 friends in High school. Small town, everybody knew everybody.
ALL alcohol related.
Case:A
Motorcycle + phone pole. (when a v-6 was a new thing) EMT gathered remains with a shovel.
Case:B
"street race" colision. Both cars racing trading paint (stupid race to begin with, stock late 70's,'98 vs. 68 HURST Olds convert.) Ironic thing here, the only casualty, didn't even know he was "part" of a race. Passed out in the back seat.
Case:C
What's commonly called fleeing and eluding.
Brand new '86 5.0 ltr,'Stang. T-tops.....again, passed out passenger.....he WAS buckled, but loosely. See, when you flip a car with t-tops...a persons weight tends to pull them out of their seat. His "likeness" was found 240 ft from the final resting place of the wreck.
I tell this to every "youngin" that has the wild child going on. You never can control anything but yourself.
Even if you "have a ride home"......you can't control the driver unless it's YOU.
I never did like getting drunk as a kid, nor now.
But it's a really sobering thing to have something SOOOooooo close, hit home.
Kudos to your community, Sculpey.
Not so much a comment on drunk driving, but about seat belts - I saw first hand last summer the difference between wearing and not wearing one in a rollover.
3 teenage girls (somewhere between 17-19 I'd guess). The driver, who was wearing her seat belt, had a bruised knee. That's it.
The other 2 were thrown, and the car rolled over one of them. I never want to see a human body twisted like that again. I heard that the other one has permanent brain damage. With the head trauma she had I wouldn't be surprised. All because they couldn't take 3 seconds to buckle up.

The one guy I work with actually said, "I started taking the highway when I leave the bar because the cops have been watching the back roads more closely."
I said, "yeah, and that way you have the opportunity to kill way more people when you pass out at the wheel."
Hey, spare auf einen Gaming-Laptop, damit ich ohne Ruckler zocken kann. Kleine Einsätze haben nur Verluste gebracht, kam nicht voran, war frustrierend. Hab auf https://highflybеts.co.at mehr riskiert und in Book of Ra einen fetten Gewinn gemacht. Laptop fast drin. Für Spieler aus Österreich gibt’s spezielle Boni, die echt pushen. Bleib dran.
